Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

I can’t even believe how fast this week flew by, and how jam packed each day was from morning until night. I admit that it left me slightly cranky, and I couldn’t wait for it to be over, for today, Sunday, the day of rest.

God’s day.

As a consolation to myself, I’ve wiped my calendar clean for the upcoming week and am determined and content to  come home after work and just sit, feet up, and indulge in all the  TV I desire. It’s gonna be a good time.  Sweatpants will of course play a major role. Want to join?

Due to the plethora of activity, my focus on the interesting was mostly lost, but I did manage to scrounge up a few nuggets. Here’s what the internet had to say.

Sad reveal about Robin Williams before he died.  So tragic.

Changing perceptions.  Reflections by a man who has been housing refugees in Germany.  Proof that a bad few eggs ruin it for the rest of us.

You have probably noticed by now that I’m a sucker for a good photo. These aren’t helping my addiction.

We’ve been dipping our tortilla chips all wrong. Let’s all get schooled using rocket science. Literally.

Did you know that Kinder eggs are illegal in the US and considered contraband?  Apparently Kinder egg smuggling is a serious problem.

From Kathmandu to Base Camp: One man’s journey to Everest Base Camp. Having done this trek with two of the guides mentioned, this read transported me back. Even if you’ve never been, a wonderful look at the trekking life.

And finally, awkward moments, we’ve all been there.  I’m cry-laughing.

Have a good week!

Cry-laughing occurred during Meet the Press, which I watch every week. Even though I hate politics.
