Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

This week? What was this week? I don’t even know what happened with this week. Clearly forgettable and therefore, we’re moving on.

I think my mind has already started to veer towards the holidays. I know! Hate me. I hate myself. While I won’t be decking these virtual halls with tinsel just yet, Thanksgiving is around the corner and starting later this week, I’m continuing up my tradition to twist up traditional turkey day favorites in the style of another country.  To remind you, last year we had Spain, and the year before, merged together the flavors of the Middle East. This year, not too drastic, but I guarantee c’est magnifique!

Do you have a real problem tearing bread when spreading peanut butter? Didn’t think so. Food Network apparently does, and created this “brilliant” hack, and people brilliantly tore it apart.

A Stand Up to Hate Playdate? Sadly, necessary, but uplifting. It starts with one.

Winnie-the-Pooh was never my favorite story growing up, but I’m really looking forward to “Goodbye, Christopher Robin.”  On Christopher Robin, War and PTSD.

Opioids? Don’t forget alcohol and tobacco. They’re still there, too.

In case you missed it, this is the best thing I’ve had to drink in a while.  Drunken Irish Hot Chocolate.

Now that charges are imminent, a read for us all:  The Punishing Reality of White House Investigations.

Earlier this year, Mississippi schools removed To Kill A Mockingbird from its class lists for fear of offensive language. Um, okay.  Now, kids can read it with a parent’s note. Um, okay.  Watch the news lately?

I would literally crap myself if this came running at me.

That’s all I have. No more!

Have a great week!
