Hey guys.

Thanks for being patient with me during the last month. It’s been a crazy whirlwind of life and sometimes, you all draw the short straw. But, now that life has returned to some semblance of calm and normal, food will once again come first.

I turned 37 last week and it took me a while to be okay with wrapping my head around that number.  Like, doesn’t that just sound old? Yam warned me about it when she hit that milestone last on July 4th and I didn’t think much of it until it was staring me in the face.  I’m sorry if you’re older than 37 and reading this, but you’ve been there, too, at one age or another. This was mine to have a mini-freak about (not as big as my 33 freak was…) but then I mentally dusted myself off and realized that things were going pretty damn great.  So I had a glass of wine, a piece of cake and rang in the new year like the champ that I am. 

Still, birthdays are always good times to dust off oneself and evaluate and today, YOU get to do the evaluating! THB is turning six (SIX!) this fall and I’d like to know your thoughts. I’d really appreciate it if you took my little survey. It’s just a gauge to see if I’m doing what I need to do to keep you coming back and to also give me some recipe inspo. You know how much I get writer’s block every year about this time…
