Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

Hello, friends!

I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve been around, but I’ve gotten a bit of normal back before I pack it up again for my trip with Mom later this week. ICYMI, we’re heading to Scotland, where we’ll be driving the Isle of Skye, and to Ireland, where we’ll either being driving the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula (we can’t decide- help us!).

Before then, I’m doing my best to keep the house clean, empty the fridge and covertly gather my belongings so that Crawley doesn’t freak out.  Gah, I miss him so much when I’m gone.

The news, the news…here’s what struck a chord.

John McCain, rest in peace.

Stories of separated loved ones.  Gosh, seems like we’re hearing that too much too often.

Why you still need to watch what you say on social media. And maybe, a reminder to have a little class.

Did anyone see Crazy Rich Asians and feel a little inadequate? Well, here’s how to feel richer and fancier without spending any more money (for the record, I did not feel inadequate after I saw it, but I did love it!).

Related:  Why Crazy Rich Asians is so important.

Flight get cancelled? Here’s what you SHOULD get.

America sucks at summer vacation. Yes, we do. How can we fix it?

Don’t get your hopes up is the dating mantra for 2018, and…yeah.

As Nike said perfectly, you can take the superhero out of her costume, but you can never take away her superpowers.

Hey, summer’s almost over, and if you haven’t had s’mores yet, here’s a grown-up version!

Have you taken my survey yet? Please do!

That’s it. Have a great week!
