Hello, Sunday!
I’m not going to lie that it feels so good to be home, as much as I love love being out and about in the world, I also love lazy weekends, with fall Saturdays that involve meal prep, Crawley time and college football. This weekend has been just that kind of perfection.
No joke though, I’m already planning next summer’s family excursion. #TheBuddhasHittheChampionships. Can you guess where we’re going???
Until then, we’re saddled at home with news of Florence coming at us hourly. Having been through both Andrew and Katrina, both seared into my mind as freshly as if they happened yesterday, I get it. And if you call that area home, I wish you all the best as you rebuild.
Was there good news this week? Here’s what I’ve found, good or bad.
This is the best Disney-themed wedding EVER.
Costa Rica is one of the happiest countries in the world. What can we learn from them?
Why we procrastinate. In case you were wondering.
This is the best street art you’ll ever see.
The homebody economy, explained. So…what are you watching on Netflix today?
It is soup season, ya know?
Never underestimate the amount of work a women does. I’m sure you don’t.
I’m loving the idea of these fried halloumi bites. Who’s making them? I’ll bring the wine.
Made me some of this chicken cauliflower soup this week, with a side of the brown bread that I can’t stop myself from eating.
Have a great week!
This is a week’s worth of fascinating reading! I’m particularly interested in the homebody economy because It’s something I’ve been thinking about all week – I am an avid participant, but I also wonder/worry about the overall health of it. Does that make sense? Once I’ve managed to digest that one, I’m interested in the bits about the work women do and procrastination. Also, soup. But I’m always interested in soup.
Totally! So much well being comes from being surrounded by people- but I am with you- I just love being in more than anything else. My recent travels got me re-into soup. I just can’t during the summer months. It’s too dang hot.
