Hello, Sunday.
Hello from Disney!
Yup, the family and I are on our annual Christmas Disney trip. It’s been all sorts of perfection, with great weather, delicious food and one glorious hot tub. Family time made up the rest of the weekend and we have two more days to spare. The World is our oyster.
As for the news, some things:
Are we celebrating too much? The Overcelebration of Life Events.
Apparently The Wizard of Oz is the most influential film made of all time. I guess there is no place like home.
If my travel tales didn’t make you want to go to Scotland, here’s some more for your convincing.
The person behind the pictures: he who draws for The Great British Baking Show.
Payless opened a fake luxury store to pull one over on influencers…and I think it’s kind of what we all deserve.
Patagonia is giving away all the profits from the tax cut last year to help save the planet, and its reminds us that we all need to do our part.
Grad school has terrible effects on one’s mental health (and this also goes to show why my job, raising money for grad school from its alumni, is so damn hard).
Smiles for all: an adventurous dog and cat duo (a large part of our vacation so far has had the three of us in stitches over internet pet videos).
Here’s to the kindness of strangers.
This is how a man falls in love. Seriously, read it.
Have a great week!
