Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

Pictured above, my household chore helper.

What a week! What a weekend. Whenever I am gone one weekend, it seems like the next one is a blast of catch up- and that is what this one has been: so much laundry, so much cooking, not as much cleaning as necessary, and just a whole lotta run around. I’m tired, but feeling good about what I accomplished. I hope you are carrying the same feeling with you.

April is upon us (whaaaat?) and with a new months comes a chance to renew and refocus ourselves. I’m doing it, you should do it, too.

I feel like I didn’t spend all that much time reading and writing, but here’s what I scrounged up for our Sunday morning reading:

Talking to your pet means that you’re actually smart, NOT insane. Thank goodness.

Dream vacation, right here.

Little changes over time make all the difference. Can you use less plastic today (I’m going to try!)?

True American heroes

EAT THE RIND!

What makes the happiest country (Finland, btw), so happy?  Yeah, I could live there.

I’m totally not a tattoo person, but these are kinda cute, don’t you think?

This couple got married after 2 weeks. Whether or not you think that’s legit, their story is pretty funny.

Thank you notes are such a lost art. Let’s bring them back, k?

A ‘puffle’ is a thing, and I’m not really into it.

Genetically, this woman feels no pain or anxiety.  Interesting indeed. What does this mean for the future of pain management?

Today, leggings- what will it be tomorrow? I’m sure this mother would be appalled to learn that my friends and I went to mass in our pajamas. Sometimes in the men’s dorm. And, thanks to Victoria’s Secret’s popularity in the early ’00s, they likely had something inappropriate written across the ass.  Bravo to the student body’s response, and shame on this ‘Catholic mother.’

It’s April Fools’ Day tomorrow. Don’t be a fool. But you should eat one.

That’s it. Have a great week!
