Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

It’s been a busy weekend; full of theater, tennis, cooking along with all the normal weekend things. I’ll be in London two weeks from today (!) and I’m trying to get things all set for your reading enjoyment, as well as spending as much time with Crawley before I leave (I know, he’s spoiled…and I feel guilty when I go away). It’s a delicate balance to strike between getting all the things done and ensuring that I also have time when I don’t have to do anything.  We all fight the fight.

Side note: Crawley is definitely enjoying #porchlife.

By Saturday night when I typically write these posts, I’ve forgotten all the interesting things that I’d saved throughout the week, but it turns out this week had my attention. Now, I hope it has yours.

We (as in the US) are far from innocent in most scenarios, so let’s stop acting like it, K?

Related: EXHIBIT A.

In a less maddening, here’s a happy dance.

Related: Seems like dancing may be the fountain of youth. So let’s keep on dancing!

Always a good reminder:  forget the stuff; it’s the moments.

This is what sports is all about (or, should be all about).

Nature’s warning signs– super interesting!

We’re growing horns. Yes. Horns.

Believe it or not, the US is not the country most likely to doubt the safety of vaccines.  Vaccinate!

Chalk one up for Bridget Jones and her absolutely enormous panties.

More of my friends have autoimmune diseases than not, myself included. Looks like we all should have gotten ourselves knocked up in high school.

Twitter takes on student loans and it’s sickening.

That’s all I’ve got. Have a happy week!
