Sunday Somethings – September, 2024

Hello, Sunday.

Hello, September!

As Taylor says, August slipped away into a moment in time.  Isn’t that the truest statement every year? The summer always seems to fly by but I swear the last month of summer flies by as slowly as the month of February crawls.

Funny how that works.

Anyway, as much as I’ll miss my lake days and after-work pickleball, I’m not mad about saying adios to the heat and getting into fall. Before this month is done, my summer decor will be packed away to make way for cozy blankets, fall hues and my favourite candles. Also, bring on the chili.

Until then, let’s see what September brings:

wishing: tickets for everything under the sun in the states weren’t so ridiculously expensive – I see more transatlantic concerts in my future unless ticketmaster can be stopped.

hoping: the rest of 2024 is calm and quiet.

thinking: about meal prep and digging through some cookbooks.

praying: for everyone’s good health.

planning: 2025 trips- just penciling things in.

dreaming: of the future.

wearing: showing my team spirit -#gobills #goirish

reading: the thursday murder club.

watching: the us open; the paralympics; lessons in chemistry

eating: easy microwave baked apples, and the last of the peaches.

drinking: apple cider iced tea, because it’s still a little steamy out there. and apple cider margs because there’s always a reason for a margarita.

traveling: to albuquerque in a few weeks

What’s up with you this month?
