Cake

Moving on today with perhaps a not entirely traditional dish, but nonetheless a little nod to Luxembourg with this fresh plum bread. 

This easy sticky toffee pudding is a British dessert of sponge cake made with chopped dates, covered in a toffee sauce and served with a custard or ice cream.

 There’s a chocolate shop that I pass daily on my walk to work and the smell of freshly baked croissants hits me in the face every morning, taunting me, as if saying, “Come eat my buttery goodness!”  That calling is the inspiration for today’s breakfast…
