Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

We’re weekending over here like champs. Laziness combined with a good ole fashioned country music festival. Me and Tomato, doin’ what we do. That just means that things are going to be a little spares here on THB. Too much street cart food, not enough kitchen table food. It happens.

I hope you’re doing what you do, and doing it all the way. And make sure you’re having fun, because otherwise, what’s the point.

The world this week? I admit I was overwhelmed with busy. Still, here we are, from my newsfeed.

I never really thought of the social customs that are preserved, or lost, with cash. Why a cashless society would hurt the poor.

I would do this in a heartbeat.  Woman retakes all her study abroad photos from 30 years ago.  Pack your passport, it’s on!

Friendliest country for ex-pats? Sorry, Canada you’re out, Taiwan and Costa Rica, among others beat you there.  Hola!

Come on, Poland. You can do better!

Margarita burn? It’s a thing. Lime and sunlight don’t mix apparently.

Maybe on your next flight, don’t drink the coffee or tea, K?

You know I love the Royals. They are just like us!

By the way, this is why we should make the most of our weekends!

Being a 35 y.o. without a bucket list, this ready-made one seems like just the ticket!  Most of it, anyway.  But really, petting a giraffe seems like a good idea.

Parts Unknown made me appreciate Anthony Bourdain. This list of things he hates does even more.

That’s all I’ve got. Have a good week!
