Hello, Sunday.
Friends! We’re late October already and the end of the year is FLYING already. I can’t even believe I’m working on my Thanksgiving recipes already (btw- Indian Thanksgiving! Coming soon!). Such as it is, fall is my favorite, so I’m embracing all that comes with it. The chill in the air, while the necessity of a jacket is sometimes annoying, brings with it warm and hearty foods, also my favorite. I’ve got a pumpkin cake in the oven right now and let me tell you, it smells like the best kind of candle in here (the best kind, not the sickly sweet fake kind).
Since crisp Sunday morning are the best, tuck into some fall-inspired waffles, keep those fuzzy socks on, and sit back for this week’s somethings.
Who are my Disney kids out there? Talk about a dream job!
Some things are too weird to be true…but then they are.
If you have someone on your Christmas list who loves TGBBS, then here’s the perfect gift for them!
Another creative gift idea.
The magic of music. This is amazing!
This is one of the most selfless thing I’ve ever seen. As a single person also very set in her ways, I’m not sure I could do this. We need heroes like this.
Don’t we all need an emergency poet these days?
Who needs hygge when you can live like your cat? For real, Crawley walks around here like the king of Sheeba. Definitely living his best life.
I am hardly a hard core yogi anymore, but even when I was a hard core yogi, I’m not sure I would get behind rage yoga.
How to: travel like a food editor. Noted!
And finally, I have a new #TravelTuesdayTales series happening on the ‘gram where I pull out of of my many travel photos from times past and give you the story behind it. The first one was the picture you see at the top of this post from my trip to Portugal back in 2006, and here, as it happens, is a handy guide on what to do in the Algarve. Neat!
That’s it. Have a great week!
