Monday Musings

Monday Musings

Hello, Monday.

I’m taking this long weekend to head down to some sunshine. It’s been a week.

In talking to others, it seems I’m not the only one who had a week.  Between work being crazy busy and my upcoming home purchase from afar (I’ll inconveniently be in Florida for my walk through and closing) and getting all of that in order, by Thursday night I turned everything off around 8 pm with a pounding headache and just went to bed.

Saturday renewed my spirit by meeting with good friend and new friends and it was just everything I needed.  Friends really are the most valuable commodity.

I hope you have some good friends to get you out of those weeks that try to break you.

Also I found Wordle. It was time.

Anyway, I hope you have the day off as well (or, an easier day due to others being off).  Here’s what lifted my spirits this week:

How to stock a pantry and freezer so there are always options. My pantry go-to: tuna pasta, OG and kimchi variety.

Now, I’ve never (and will never) have a baby, but this is both funny and horrifying.

Are tastes inherited or acquired? An interesting question indeed. Maybe a little of both?

Do you believe in soul mates? I’m undecided here, but it’s always fun to think about.

My favorite heroine is back! Excelsior!

Um…occupational hazard?

Oh no! God Save the Queen.

Instagram ads almost never get me, but I succumbed to this ombre sweater. I mean, it me.

I feel like it’s coming upon the season just ripe for a lemon drizzle.

I hope you are well! Have a great week.
