Monday Musings

Monday Musings

Hello, Monday.

It seems that every Monday lately I’ve been apologizing for not getting my Somethings out on Sunday. Well, it’s the week before Thanksgiving and the rush has begun, so my chance to sit down for a cuppa and a (virtual) chat didn’t come until Sunday evening.

So here we are.

I can claim a productive weekend. My guest room is alllllmost ready to go, with a picture collage on the wall that I just love. My house is half decorated for Christmas, with my tree still MIA after two trips to Lowes since Friday to find that the “short” trees hadn’t yet been unwrapped. Today is the day, I know it!  My food is prepped to get me fed until The Big Meal (Riboletta, back in the kitchen) and all I’ve got left is the bathrooms to clean until the guests come.  I’m in a great place to kick off this Monday. I hope you are too, and allow yourself some YOU time amidst the holiday bustles.

Here’s what we got.

What’s in that candle, and why is it so expensive? A deeper dive.  (For the record, this is my favorite fave candle – but I always get mine in-store at World Market and I can’t seem to find it on the website).

The 90s are back in this playlist and I am here for it.

As someone who had an appointment with a veterinary oncologist two weeks ago (which thankfully I was able to cancel since the Crawfish is okay)- my answer is anything.

Taylor Swift brings down Ticketmaster. Yes, please.

Animals are the best.

Are we watching holiday movies this weekend? Here’s some inspo if you’re lacking. My family faves: Sound of Music, White Christmas, My Fair Lady.

This water baby definitely believe in the power of blue therapy.

If you’re about to gear up your online shopping and don’t use Rakuten yet, you should be! Here’s my link– use it and we both get $$$!

That’s all I’ve got. Have a great week and a Happy Thanksgiving!
