Hello Sunday.
I’m writing this on a cozy Saturday afternoon from my couch. The snow is falling outside (though not sticking) and Crawley is curled up on my lap while I watch what is I’m sure the first of many bad holiday rom-coms. It’s a good place to be.
Also knowing that I would realistically need 10 hours to sit and watch the new season of The Crown straight through, I haven’t started it yet.
We avoided a little health scare with Crawley the last few months but all seems to be well and I’m counting our blessings for that.
I can feel the season’s busy starting to creep up and I’m coming at it with a good attitude and baked goods (which I’ll be sharing soon!). I hope you can face what’s ahead with equal good spirits. And may your spirit not be broken.

You’d think with an extra hour that I’d have gotten my regular Sunday thoughts in on time, but as I sat down Saturday night to write, the wind was howling and my internet patchy and I just gave up and watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
Yup, you read that right. That was what called to me on Netflix, and you know what? I still know all the words to the Ninja Rap. So I consider this a good decision.
Keeping it light and easy today. And as the sun rises on a new month (hence, the picture), new thoughts.
