Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

Damn, what a week and we all know that it’s just the beginning. I’ve been trying, trying so hard to keep some sanity by taking frequent walks, having frequent snuggles with Crawley and cooking and baking things (first this, then this).  Is it enough?

My happiest day in the past 10 or so was yesterday. I was outside a lot. I cleaned. I exercised. I cooked. I made ice cream. And I was only in front of my computer long enough to write this post. I had my Frankie Valli pandora station blaring through the house. It was oh so perfect, and oh so what I needed.  It’s hard to get away from it all if you have the type of job that I do where you’re in front of the computer all day, getting constant updates about how horrible everything is and how everything is just getting worse.  So, maybe do yourself a favor and turn off the noise for a second, k?

The worst of times does bring out the best, as I mentioned last week. It also seems to bring out people’s creativity! We’ve got a few more weeks of this so I can’t wait to see what else people can come up with. Here are some of my favorites.

Pirates of the Caribbean, quarantine style.

Sports commentating, without the sports.

This dude ran a marathon on his balcony.

Toilet paper roll art.

In case you didn’t know, you can still Netflix and chill with your friends, from afar.

Also, ICYDK, this is how you clean a toilet.  With a most excellent commentary.

These fun things are free!

Now, here’s a leader.

How you can help.

Health care workers, click this! AllBirds wants to help you!

Remember, you might be alone, but don’t forget, you don’t have to be lonely. That’s important.

Have a good week. Do your best!
