Monday Musings

Monday Musings

Hello, Monday.

Well, we skipped over spring in these parts and went straight to summer. Ninety degrees- not my favorite, especially when I have no pool or lake to jump in for relief.  Still, ’twas a good weekend with friends, tennis, food, family and nature. I got done with the things too late on Saturday to write this for you, so here we are for some Monday reading.

I hope that you’re getting in the summer groove. Delta has changed every one of my upcoming flights on me which makes me a little cranky, but really I should be happy that I have flights coming up at all. The things we took for granted in 2019, amiright?

So much tension in the news this week so I’m trying to keep in light here. I hope you had a great weekend and a splendid week ahead!

I was so busy all week, the pickings are a bit slim here. I hope they still find a way to make you pause.

Ever hear of the Eligible Bachelor paradox? My friends and I are living it.

How to: defeat the next pandemic.

The office isn’t dead – it’s the people that make the office. As someone who started a new job in the last year, virtually, and have never met nor been to my office- I love my new job, and it’s definitely the people.

What will happen when we can all just breathe?

If you’re looking for classy, comfortable, well made swimwear, I am pointing you to Boden.

I’m guessing we’ve all seen the Friends trailer, but I’m leaving it here because it made me smile the biggest smile.

If you need ice cream making guidance this summer, I’m pointing you here.

Finally, I’m raising money for the Children’s Literacy Network for my 40th birthday in August.  Starting early. If you’d like to contribute, I’d be very grateful!  Here is my fundraiser page. If you don’t like using FB, you can donate directly here.

That’s all I’ve got for you today. Have a good one!
