Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

Hello from Andorra!

Yup, I’m here on vacation tucked into a corner of the Pyrenees for some hiking, biking and rafting and I couldn’t be more excited. Sure, I had other things I could be doing (ie packing) and I always miss my Crawley, but I was ready for a true break from work and stress and all the horrible news that we are getting daily.  Escapism, it works for me.

In light of my rush-rush to get things done before I left, I am leaving you with something lighter as we look down the barrel at September. I mean, how?!

Anyway, I do have a recipe coming for you this week and then all sorts of vacation recaps and food recreations in the weeks to follow. You know, as I do under normal times.

Follow me on Instagram for the vacation latest! #NothingToulouse #IsntItAndorrable

wishing: all of you good health. i’m serious.

hoping: 2022 looks maybe a bit more normal?

thinking: of all the things I need to do when I get home.

praying: for those folks in LA. hurricane season waits for no man.

planning: my fall bucket list! apple picking, tennis leagues and house decorating!

watching: the chair. love me some Sandra Oh.

wearing: omgeee a fleece and a sweatshirt.

eating: alllll the things. but soon, chili at home.

reading: looking forward to windswept!

playing: in the pool while it lasts.

dreaming: of all the other adventures #Thisis40 will surely bring.

Have a great week!

Also, here is Tomato’s brother doing good things for our Afghan friends. A retired marine, he was out being a hero while his sister and I were acting the fool on our less serious world travels. Please help if you can.
