Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

How are you?! I’m back in this midwestern winter after 10 days in paradise, and the rain/sleet/snow predictions that comes with that. It’s fine, I’m into it and the cold weather part of the year that I love (as opposed to the cold weather part that I hate- that would be February-April) and the holiday vibe that comes with it. I can’t wait to tell you more about our vacation, and the foods that came with it.

Other than that, I’ve got my head down and ready to roll through the rest of the year. Not without the hint of another trip lingering in my texts. My friends, we just enable each other with these last minute, somewhat planned vacations.  The benefit of having so many still-single friends is that often times the answer to a “wanna go to XXX?,” from any given one of us is a “probably, YES.”

Anyway, here is this week:

Free Britney? Done and Done! What next?

Making friends as an adult is straight up hard.

What was COP26 and what did it do? A summary.

Who doesn’t love Paul Rudd? The man that doesn’t age.

And now I want to take a train trip.  Don’t you just love trains?

I was just telling mom after watching the GBBO how much I love savory spins and cookies and it seems like I’m on trend!

Age old question: What is the meaning of life?

Potato milk is happening. I ask myself why.

While it’s hard to get mom to veer from her traditional Thanksgiving fare (it’s her favorite holiday) I think I’m  adding this queso to my Thanksgiving to-make list.

It’s time for a warm beverage.

Have a great week!
