Sunday Somethings

Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

Well we got our first blizzard. It’s been a snow-rain-snow situation which means the roads are horrendous and because my town for some reason doesn’t believe in plowing, I’ll be at home for a bit. Not mad about it actually.

Taking the time to really tidy the house, cook some stuff for the week, read and really tuck in. Life will get busy soon enough, so I”m enjoying the long weekend where I have very few places to be. I hope, if you’re also dealing with horrendous weather like much of the country is, you can embrace it in the same easy way.

The weather honestly has been at the forefront of my mind this week as we watched what we have outside now barrel across the country and everyone freak out about it. But here’s what else snuck through:

This is your brain on…meetings? I co-sign this – there is nothing that stresses me out more than looking at my work calendar and seeing a block of red.  It actually makes me both angry and want to cry. Luckily, it doesn’t happen very often.

Oh, Bob Ross. He’s still got it, apparently.

Youth court? A novel idea- and it seems to be working. Can we do this more?

Deep thoughts- what makes a good vending machine? If I’m at the point where I’m left with a vending machine, I want some Diet Pepsi and some kind of protein bar…I know, lame.

Food is stupid. Haha. I like where this is headed.

Ooh, I like this- how to use leftover sparkling wine.

I know quite a few people who have resolutions to drink less, beyond dry January. As someone who doesn’t drink often myself, I’m excited to see so many fun options to bust the taboo.

A You’ve Got Mail rewatch is giving me all the feels- and makes me want to watch it right now.

What to do with those empty office buildings?

We’re stuck inside, soup’s on.

Have a great week!
