Monday Musings

Monday Musings

Hello, Monday.

I’m a day late with my somethings and musings because I got my second dose on Saturday and man, what a doozy. I spent yesterday all on the couch, and on Saturday night when I normally regale you with my weekly wit, I was solidly unable to focus on anything. So here we are, a Monday treat.

Despite the discomfort, I’m thankful to have the vaccine.  A small step towards maybe being a bit normal, and a small glimmer of home.

An oldie, but still holds true. The downfall of dating.

Love me some Brit wit.

The last time a vaccine saved America.

This summer, we vacation like the French.  I’m READY FOR IT.

Pandemic senioritis? Yup, it’s a thing and…raises hand.

I missed the funeral to get my vaccine but this photo of Lizzie by herself is heartcrushing. And represents so many of us this past year.

As someone whose cat Zoom bombs on the regular, I feel this hard.  Let people be human!

The Swedish law of wanderlust.  Wouldn’t we all benefit from this attitude?

Speaking of Sweden, dreaming about this cake- soon!

That’s all I’ve got. Have a good week!
