Monday Musings

Monday Musings

Hello, Monday.

It was one of those weekends where I felt like I needed just one more day. Between making sure the dog was walked 50 times a day, doing laundry, working out, watching tennis, cooking a few things…where did the weekend go?

I did get to hang out with two different friends on two separate occasions though, so it’s like I’m living in 2019 again.

I also got to really booking stuff for my Hawaii adventures that take off two weeks from today! Can’t wait. So excited. Really jazzed.

Until then, time to get the hell out of this Mercury retrograde and make sure that all my mental ducks are lined up before a few weeks of frivolity.

Anyway, let’s dish:

Even wizards don’t have the job security they once did.

Whenever Mother Nature starts to rumble, I always look to nature – or the pets- to see what’s up. After all, they have their instincts and they aren’t prone to ignore them.  It’s why so many animals survive major weather events, and the CO wildfires are no exception. Hot dam!

Still aiming to have a new house that is not so full of “stuff.”

New rules for dinner parties. Gosh, remember those? I’m ready to embrace them again in 2022!

We solved the flu last year– how will we do this year? (Got my flu shot, huzzah!)

Finances on the brain? I thought this was a good list for financial self-care.

How early do you really need to get to the airport? I mean, really? An FYI for the upcoming holidays.

Paul, setting the record straight.

I love winter squash and am very into this.

Have a great week!
