Hello, Sunday.

It’s been a week – not the best one. Or the best month to be honest, so while we’re still hanging out here in October for another 24 hours, forgive me if I’m ready to flip the calendar to November. For that, I’m looking ahead to the new month and all the things I’ve got going on, so indulge me while I take a pass at the news of the week (was there anything good out there? Is there ever anymore?) and dish on what’s going on with me. Tell me, what’s going on with you?

wishing: for a feeling of calm.

hoping: my upcoming vacations go off without too much of a hitch- and that mom will be able to join us.

thinking: of how I want to decorate my new house…eventually.

praying: our poor doggie’s paw would get better soon. and for my dear friend’s recovery as well.

planning: excursions and getaways, 2021 and 2022.

dreaming: of the holidays, and all the good parts that come with them. like these cookies.

wearing: cozy pajamas – already got my holiday ones!

going: to Hawaii- tomorrow! and D.C. straight away after.

eating: all the soup. here’s a fall fave.

drinking: hot chocolate– baby, it’s cold outside.
