Sunday Somethings

Hello, Sunday.

How are ya’ll? Well, we’re plugging away in 2023 and I can’t even believe we’re midway through February. As the year plugs on, since I’ve been blogging, I’ve always thought of it as moving from one holiday to the next. We’ve passed Lunar New Year, the Super Bowl, and Valentine’s Day and are staring at Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day and then Easter. Throw in Mother’s Day and we’re already well into May.

All that being said, I’ve got some banging eats coming at you for all of the above, so get ready!

I’ve spent the weekend catching up with friends, playing tennis and today and am off to Broadway to see Jagged Little Pill with Brother. A full and fulfilling weekend for sure. I hope you’ve had the same.

I can’t even really remember the real news that happened this week, but I did manage to squirrel away some interesting, not-too-serious reads this week. Here they are for you and your easy Sunday morning reading.

Oh, Paul Rudd. Being just as lovable as ever.  As a huge Friends fan, I didn’t think that his appearance in the finale seemed out of place. Did you? But I do see his point.

People all over are setting their phone locations to France. Huh…that’s interesting.

Wellness = Travel. While I do often like an indulgence on the road, you can probably tell that I favor those vacations where I’m not exactly sitting around

Dick van Dyke is STILL at it

Would you live in a refurbished high school? I don’t know, but it looks pretty cool.

Football is SO dangerous. I just can’t.

The rise of #childfree- the boom and the backlash.

Schools that ban smartphones– seems like a good idea to me.

Crete is apparently the culinary capital of Greece. Hey, I went there! It was fab- you should add it to your list.

Having a Mardi Gras shindig? Here’s a cheat sheet.

These pralines? My favorite.

Have a great week!
